LAS VEGAS - The idea of offering a fun, inexpensive and family-friendly atmosphere at UNLV athletic events becomes a reality Saturday as the Family Fun Zone debuts at the school's football game vs. Kansas, which kicks off at 7 p.m.

The UNLV Family Fun Zone is a total entertainment package for families in a designated area of Sam Boyd Stadium that is smoke-free and alcohol-free.

For a total cost of only $38 per game, the package includes four tickets, four exclusive giveaways (which this week are Family Fun Zone mini-megaphones sponsored by Krispy Kreme), and four invitations to an exclusive pre-game tailgating party in the Rebel Experience area that includes a complete meal. Each additional child under the age of 12 costs an extra $6.

The FFZ also will feature visits by the UNLV cheerleading and dance teams and mascots Hey Reb and See More, free Rebel temporary cheek tattoos and a balloon artist at the tailgate area. This week's designated host will be the Lady Rebel basketball team and players will be available for photos and autographs for fans.

Tickets will be on sale on game days at the Sam Boyd Stadium box office. However, before each Saturday, fans can purchase Family Fun Zone tickets four easy ways:
