TEMPE, Ariz. - The UNLV women's tennis team wrapped up fall tournament play Sunday with just a lone doubles match at the ASU/Thunderbirds Invitational at the Whiteman Tennis Center.

With no singles consolation action being staged, only the doubles team of Claire Smith and Anne Claire Ortiz Luis competed. Playing in the consolation semifinals, the Lady Rebel duo fell to Purdue's Hala Sufi and Brittany Reitz 8-2.

UNLV will next be in action when it hosts the prestigious Collegiate Tennis Kickoff at the Fertitta Tennis Complex on Jan. 16-18, 2004.
