LAS VEGAS, Nev. - The UNLV women's golf team is ranked No. 25 in Golf World's final fall College Coaches Poll, which appears in the magazine's December 16 edition.
UNLV won the Las Vegas Founders Showdown and finished eighth at the Hooters Collegiate Match Play Championship this past month to move into the top 25 after being unranked in Golf World's November poll.
The Mountain West Conference was represented by two teams in the poll, as the Rebels were joined by No. 8 New Mexico. The Lobos moved up two spots from tenth.
Duke remained the unanimous No. 1 team in the country, as the Blue Devils have won all five tournaments they have played in this fall. Duke beat UNLV in the opening round of the Hooters Match Play earlier this year. The three teams after Duke remained unchanged, as Arizona State was second, UCLA third and Georgia fourth. Auburn rounded out the top five, moving up two spots from seventh.
