LAS VEGAS - The UNLV women's tennis team won its seventh straight match as they defeat the University of Utah Lady Utes at the Fertitta Tennis Complex Friday.
The 51st- nationally ranked Lady Rebels improved to 11-3, (1-0) including improving to 11-1 at home, while Utah fell to 5-11 overall
UNLV started the day by sweeping all of their doubles matches and earning one point. In singles play all six Lady Rebels won in straight set. Gyorgyi Zsiros played at the No.1 position. Followed by teammate Abra Abram at the No. 2 court. Anne Clair Ortiz at the No. 3 Cindy Treber at the No. 4 Claire Smith at the No 5 and Mery Constanti at the No. 6 court.
Up next, the Lady Rebels will look to keep their winning streak alive as they will face the 14th-nationally ranked BYU Cougars Saturday.
