COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - UNLV men's golfer Ryan Moore has been named the Mountain West Conference Co-Golfer of the Month for April, the league announced Tuesday.
Moore, of Puyallup, Wash., earns the award for the second consecutive month, except this time he shares it with Colorado State's Martin Laird.
In two tournaments in April, Moore was victorious at the National Invitation Tournament in Tucson, Ariz., and finished second at the ASU Thunderbird Invitational a week later.
Additionally, the Rebels' ace was chosen as a semifinalist for the prestigious Hogan Award and named to the U.S. Palmer Cup team.
The 14th-ranked Rebels head to Sunriver, Ore., this week to compete in the Mountain West Conference Championship. The Rebels seek their third conference title in five years.
