LAS VEGAS - The UNLV women's team and one individual were included as part of the final 2004 edition of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association national rankings.

Despite missing the NCAA Tournament for the first time in three years, the Lady Rebels (16-7) moved up six spots to finish 50th in the nation. Individually, junior Gyorgyi Zsiros (17-13) improved three notches to close at 102nd.

On a regional basis, the UNLV women were sixth in the West, Zsiros was 12th, Anne Claire Ortiz-Luis was 25th and the doubles team of Agnieszka Abram and Ortiz-Luis rated 15th.
