LAS VEGAS - Four former UNLV football players will be playing this weekend in two postseason all-star games.
On the islands for Saturday's Hula Bowl Maui will be 2004 Mountain West Conference rushing king Dominique Dorsey and UNLV's all-time receiving yards leader Earvin Johnson. Both played and performed well in similar games last week. Dorsey's 28-yard game-winning touchdown run capped off a 57-yard eight-carry day in The Villages Gridiron Classic outside of Orlando while Johnson caught four passes for 62 yards in the East-West Shrine Game in San Francisco.
Kickoff at War Memorial Stadium in Wailuku, Hawaii, is scheduled for 4 p.m. PST on ESPN.
Also on Saturday, former Rebel defensive back Ruschard Dodd-Masters and offensive lineman Joe Critchfield are scheduled to play on the West Team in the fourth annual Las Vegas All-American Classic at Sam Boyd Stadium. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
