UNLV In Fifth Heading Into Final Round

UNLV freshmen Da Sol Chung and Grace Woo are in the top 15 after two rounds of the Stanford Pepsi Intercollegiate as the Rebels are in fifth place as a team after Saturday's second round.

The Rebels have a two-round score of 582 (+14) and are 19 shots behind leader Duke, as the top-ranked Blue Devils are at the top of the leaderboard with a score of 563 (-5). USC is second (576), followed by UCLA (578), Pepperdine (581) and UNLV. Elizabeth Janangelo of Duke is the clubhouse leader after she fired a four-under 67 in the second round for a 36-hole score of 137 (-5).

Chung is just four strokes off the pace, sitting in a tie for sixth place, after carding a two-under 69 in her second 18 for a total of 141 (-1). Woo, also a freshman, is alone in 12th with a two round score of 143 (+1) after she shot a one-under 70 on Saturday.

Rebel junior Seema Sadekar is just out of the top-20, as she is tied for 21st with a two-round score of 146 (+4) after she posted back-to-back scores of 73. Elena Kurokawa is tied for 51st (152, +10) and Young Pak is tied for 98th (169, +27)

Sunday is the final round of the tournament and tee times will begin at 7:30 a.m. (PDT) at the Stanford Golf Course.
