AUGUSTA, Ga. - UNLV senior golfer Ryan Moore shot a second-round 1-under-par 71 at the Masters on Saturday and was one of just two amateur players to make the cut and advance to the third round of play.
Moore, who is playing in his second Masters, also made the cut in 2003 as he tied for 45th.
The third round was started on Saturday as well, as weather wreaked havoc on the tournament's first two days of competition forcing golfers to finish out the second round and start round three before darkness suspended play for the second straight day.
Moore completed 11 holes of his third round before play was halted and currently is in a tie for 19th at even-par for the tournament.
Each of the former Rebels that are playing in the Masters also made the cut. Chad Campbell is tied for 13th at 2-under, Adam Scott is tied for 17th at 1-under and Chris Riley is tied for 47th at 7-over.
Chris DiMarco leads the tournament at 13-under and is followed by Tiger Woods at 9-under.
The third round will continue on Sunday at 5 a.m. PDT with the final round to begin at approximately 8 am PDT.
