UNLV women's golf wrapped play at the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational on Wednesday afternoon, finishing in 10th place after shooting a team score of 941 (+77) on the Sahalee Country Club golf course.
Da Sol Chung and Natasha Krishna were the top finishers for the Rebels, both ending in a group tied for 25th with a 54-hole total of 232 (+16) after they each shot a final-round 77 (+5) on the par-72, 6,130-yard course.
Stanford won the team title with a score of 896 (+32), finishing six strokes ahead of New Mexico (902, +38) and nine in front of Arizona State (905, +41). Mari Chun led from start to finish in winning medalist honors with a final total of 215 (-1), good for a two-stroke victory over Jodi Ewart of New Mexico who shot a 217 (+1).
Rebel senior Seema Sadekar cracked the top 35, finished tied for 33rd with a three-round total of 235 (+19) while Kristin Ingram came in 55th with a score of 243 (+27) and Kasi Lee was in 71st with a three-round total of 253 (+37).
UNLV will now have the next two weekends off before hosting the fifth-annual Las Vegas Founders Collegiate Showdown, which will be played Oct. 30-Nov. 1 at Anthem Country Club in Henderson, Nev.
