LAS VEGAS - As the UNLV men's basketball team prepares for the 2006-07 season, fans will have an early chance to meet and get to know the team on Saturday, October 28.

The event, which is free and open to the public, begins at 10 a.m. at the Thomas & Mack Center. The first 1,000 fans will receive a free balcony ticket to the Nov. 7 exhibition game against Dixie State College.

Nov. 7 will also feature alumni games at 5 p.m. at the Thomas & Mack Center and at halftime of the exhibition game, UNLV will retire former Rebel great Greg Anthony's jersey.
