REBELS TO HOST TOURNAMENT

UNLV continues its spring season by hosting the second-annual UNLV Spring Invitational, held at Boulder Creek Golf Club on March 13-15. A field of 18 teams will compete on the par-72, 6,153-yard course.

THE FIELD

BYU, Campbell, Colorado, Colorado State, Eastern Washington, Fresno State, Idaho, Illinois, Illinois State, Indiana, Long Beach State, Memphis, Nevada-Reno, New Mexico, San Diego State, San Jose State, Texas Tech and UNLV.

THE REBEL LINEUP

Da Sol Chung, Fr.Seema Sadekar, Jr.Elena Kurokawa, Sr.Grace Woo, Fr.Young Pak, Sr.

*UNLV will also field a second team made up of Allison Chell, Kasi Lee, Nicole McGirr, Chelsea Pendleton and Erin McGough.

REBELS AT LAST YEAR'S UNLV INVITATIONAL

The Rebels finished sixth at last year's inaugural UNLV Invitational, which was played at Black Mountain Country Club. Elena Kurokawa came in tied for 4th as an individual and that was her third-consecutive top-10 finish.

REBEL RANKING

The UNLV women's golf team is currently ranked 10th in the country in Golfweek's latest rankings. The highest ranking for the Rebels this season has been eighth, marking the first time in the Rebels' history that the program had been in the top 10.
