REBELS TRAVEL TO ARIZONA UNLV continues its spring season by traveling to Tempe, Ariz., for the PING/ASU Invitational, which will be played Friday-Sunday, March 31 - April 2 at the par 72, 6,230-yard ASU Karsten Golf Course. UNLV will then play in the BYU-Dixie Classic beginning on April 3 in St. George, Utah. It is a two-day tournament.
THE FIELD Nine of the squads in the 16-team field for the tournament are ranked in the Golfstat Top 25: No. 2 UCLA, No. 3 ASU, No. 5 Pepperdine, No. 6 Southern California, No. 10 UNLV, No. 17 Texas A&M, No. 19 Stanford, No. 21 Arizona, No. 22 Long Beach State, Missouri, Oregon, Oregon State, Texas, Tulsa, Washington and Washington State.

2005 PING/ASU INVITATIONAL This will be the first time that UNLV has played at the PING/ASU Invitational. ASU captured the 2005 PING/ASU Invitational championship with a three-day total of three-under par 870. ASU's Louise Stahle won individual medalist honors, carding a seven-under 209.
REBEL RANKING The UNLV women's golf team is currently ranked 10th in the country in Golfweek's latest rankings. The highest ranking for the Rebels this season has been eighth, marking the first time in the Rebels' history that the program had been in the top 10.
