The UNLV women's basketball team is glad to be back in Las Vegas after a three-game road swing, and are looking forward to playing in front of a home crowd again when they host Colorado State on Thursday night to close out the first half of the Mountain West schedule. The game will tipoff at 7 pm in the Cox Pavilion, and will be televised by the mtn (Cox Channel 334 in Las Vegas).

It will be UNLV's fourth game on TV this year, all in Las Vegas. The Lady Rebels are 2-1 thus far this year in televised games, including two straight upsets over #19 DePaul and Wyoming.

A win against Colorado State would not only give UNLV a 4-4 record at the midway point of the league slate, but would also ensure them of being no worse then tied for fifth place in the MWC standings, as New Mexico (3-4 MWC) plays at San Diego State on Wednesday night.

UNLV has had good success over the Rams recently, especially in Las Vegas, where it has won six straight meetings, five of them by double-digits. A win would also give UNLV four straight wins over CSU, which would be its longest win streak in the 24-game series between the two schools.

Colorado State has struggled since a loss at Connecticut, with eight losses in its last nine games, The Rams also have had four players, including two starters, suspended for the past seven MWC games. Though two were reinstated for Thursday's contest, it still leaves the Rams without their top two leading scorers. In fact, only two players that will make the trip to Las Vegas have ever played against the Lady Rebels, with those two having averaged a total of 6.5 points against UNLV.
