COLUMBUS, Ohio - UNLV senior star Elena Gantcheva will have to face the second seed in the opening round of the 2007 ITA Indoor Tennis Championships, which are being staged at the Racquet Club of Columbus and hosted by The Ohio State University Thursday through Sunday.

Gantcheva, ranked 50th nationally, will take on fourth-ranked Susie Babos of Cal as part of the 32-player singles draw. This marks Gantcheva's second appearance at the elite national event as she earned her spot by being a finalist at the ITA West Regional earlier this month on San Diego. In her previous trip, the native of Sofia, Bulgaria, won her first round match before losing in the Round of 16 at the 2005 edition.
