Feb. 10, 2007

LAS VEGAS - The 40th-ranked UNLV women's tennis team set a school record with its fifth consecutive shutout, 7-0, over Southern Utah at the Fertitta Tennis Complex on Saturday.

In singles, sophomore Nikol Dimitrova moved up to the top of the lineup and downed Lelia Kanuha 6-3, 6-1. Also winning in straights sets for the hosts were Kristina Nedeltcheva at No. 2, Claire Smith at No. 3, Linda Tempelfelde at No. 4, Alisa Razina at No. 5 and senior Mery Contanti on court six.

The Lady Rebels close out the weekend vs. Utah State on Sunday beginning at 10 a.m.
