REBELS BEGIN SPRING SEASON: UNLV opens the spring season next week at the Wildcat Invitational, a two-day tournament in Tucson, Ariz. Two rounds will be played on Monday with the final 18 being played Tuesday at Arizona National golf course. It will be a good opening test for the Rebels, as 11 squads in the 15-team field are currently ranked in Golfweek's latest rankings.

THE FIELD: Arizona, Arizona State, BYU, Cal, Duke, New Mexico, Pepperdine, Stanford, Tennessee, UCLA, UNLV, USC, Vanderbilt, Virginia and Washington

THE COURSE: The 54-hole tournament will be played at Arizona National, a par-71, 6,238-yard course in Tucson.
