LAS VEGAS - The UNLV men's golf team moved up to No. 6 in the nation in the latest edition of the Golfstat rankings after winning the team title at the Morris Williams Intercollegiate on Tuesday.
Stanford is No. 1 in the rankings, followed by Georgia, Alabama, USC and Oklahoma State. UNLV, which has recorded five top-five finishes this year and two wins, is sixth and is followed by Lamar, Clemson, Florida and UCLA.
Individually, UNLV has three players ranked in the nation's top 100: Jarred Texter is 25th, Ryan Keeney is 81st and C.J. Gatto is 83rd.
UNLV will return to action April 2-3 at the National Invitational Tournament in Tucson, Ariz.
