Windy City Collegiate Championships Final Results 
SKOKIE, Ill. - The UNLV women's golf team finished 13th at the Windy City Collegiate Championships, which was held the Evanston Golf Course in Skokie, Ill, just north of Chicago.
The Rebels were led by freshman Kristen Schelling, who posted a three-round score of 234 (+18) to finish 39th overall, part of a Rebel team total of 947 (+83) on the par-72, 6,350-yard course.
Purdue won the team title with a 54-hole score of 891 (+27), good for a nine-stroke victory over second-place TCU. Junthima Gulyanamitta of the Boilermakers earned medalist honors with a four-under 212, and she was the only player to finish under par in the tournament.
Melissa Mabanta was the next Rebel on the leaderboard, as she came in tied for 48th with a score of 239 (+23), while Bethany Glassford (242, +26) and Alejandra Guacaneme (242, +26) tied for 55th, and Kasi Lee (243, +27) was in a group that tied for 57th. Lee was the only Rebel who shot below 80 on the day, as she posted a final-round 76 (+4).
UNLV played the tournament without two of its top players, as junior Natasha Krishna and sophomore Therese Koelbaek are in Adelaide, Australia with their national teams at the 2008 World Amateur Team Championships, which will be held, on Oct. 8-11. Krishna will be playing for New Zealand and Koelbaek will be on Denmark's team.
