Rebels Travel To Sacramento

March 30, 2008

LAS VEGAS - UNLV women's golf continues its spring schedule, traveling to California for the Sacramento State Preview, which begins on Monday at the Lincoln Hills Golf Club.

The Rebels will play 36 holes on the par-72, 5,819-yard course on Monday and will finish up the tournament with 18 holes on Tuesday. UNLV is part of a 19-team field that includes fellow Mountain West Conference foe San Diego State.

This is the first time that Sacramento State has hosted this tournament, and the course is also the same one that the 2008 NCAA West Regional will be played at on

Rebel head coach Missy Ringler will send the following lineup out to the course on Monday: Therese Koelbaek, Alejandra Guacaneme, Natasha Krishna, Kasi Lee and Tonya Choate. It is the same lineup that produced a sixth-place finish earlier this month at the UNLV Spring Invitational.
