LAS VEGAS - The No. 14 UNLV men's golf team will return to action this Monday and Tuesday, April 7-8, as it will compete at the 42nd Annual Morris Williams Intercollegiate, which will be played at The University of Texas Golf Club in Austin, Texas.

This will mark the first year that the tournament will be played at that course. The tournament was held at Austin Country Club each of the last nine seasons.

The 54-hole stroke-play tournament will consist of 36 holes on Monday and 18 on Tuesday and the course is set up as a par 71 and will play 7,412 yards.

Last year's tournament, which was won by UNLV at 8-under 568, was shortened to two rounds because of rain. Last year's medalists were Tulsa's Ryan Henry, Texas A&M's Austin Schauer and New Mexico's Steve Saunders, who all finished at 5-under 139. UNLV's Jarred Texter and Seung-Su Han were the Rebels' top finishers last year as they both tied for 12th at 1-under 143.

This year's field includes Alabama, Auburn, BYU, Central Florida, Fresno State, Louisville, New Mexico, Oklahoma State, Pepperdine, TCU, host Texas, Texas Tech, Tulsa, San Diego and UNLV.

Scheduled to compete for UNLV will be Han, Brett Kanda, Eddie Olson, C.J. Gatto and Matt Kinsinger. Live scoring will be available through Golfstat.com and from a link at UNLVRebels.com.

UNLV has won two tournaments this season and has a current string of seven straight tournaments with a top-five finish.
