LAS VEGAS - UNLV women's golf ends its regular season this week at the Indiana Invitational, which is being played on Crooked Stick Golf Course beginning on Monday.
The Rebels are part of a 14-team field that features five top-50 teams in the latest GolfWeek/Sagarin rankings, including No. 6 Purdue and No. 27 Texas. It is the second year that UNLV will be playing in the tournament.
UNLV head coach Missy Ringler will put the following lineup out on the course: Natasha Krishna, Therese Koelbaek, Alejandra Guacaneme, Kasi Lee and Melissa Mabanta. The Rebels will also have Nicole McGirr playing as an individual.
Krishna is coming off her best tournament of the season, a fifth-place finish at the Sacramento State Preview in which she shot a three-over 219 in her three rounds.
The tournament gets underway Monday, with team's playing 54-holes before wrapping up the event with 18 holes on Tuesday. Fans can follow the tournament live by CLICKING HERE.
Following the IU Invitational, the Rebels will have almost two weeks to prepare for the 2008 Mountain West Conference Championships, held this year in Albuquerque, N.M., on April 16-18.
