LAS VEGAS - UNLV women's golf had four members named to the 2008 Spring Academic All-MWC team, including two-time selection Nicole McGirr, the league announced today.
McGirr was joined on the team by Alejandra Guacaneme, Therese Koelbaek and Kasi Lee, all first time recipients of the award.
To be eligible for selection to the Academic All-MWC team, student-athletes must have completed at least one academic term at the school while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better, and be a starter or significant contributor on their team.

*Denotes MWC Scholar-Athlete Award winner. The MWC Scholar-Athlete Award is the highest academic honor bestowed by the Conference. To be eligible for selection, student-athletes must have completed at least two academic terms at the member institution, while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or better, and have participated in varsity competition in an NCAA-sponsored sport.
