LAS VEGAS - UNLV players won three of the four singles flights to close out the 2008 UNLV Women's Tennis Fall Invitational at the Fertitta Tennis Complex on Sunday. Combined two doubles titles won on Saturday, head coach Kevin Cory's program claimed a combined five out of eight singles and doubles flights over the weekend.

Playing in the top flight of singles, junior Kristina Nedeltcheva was impressive in downing Natalia Shatkovskaya of Oklahoma State 6-1, 6-3. In flight two, senior Katy Williams won her final, 6-1, 6-3 over Jamie Mera of Missouri. In flight four, Adrienn Hidvegi downed Kaitlin Dunham of Missouri 6-4, 6-2.

Also, senior Nikol Dimitrova won the consolation bracket of flight two with a 6-3, 6-2 victory over Kim Van Ginkel of NAU. UNLV players posted a singles and doubles win as part of a group of added matches.

"Overall, today was our best day," UNLV head coach Kevin Cory said. "For us to win all five singles matches on Sunday shows how hard the players have worked this fall. This certainly gives us a lot of momentum going into next month's ITA regionals."
