LAS VEGAS - The No. 21 UNLV men's golf team was named Golfweek's Men's College Team of the Week on Monday, two days after the Rebels won the William H. Tucker Invitational in Albuquerque, N.M.

UNLV entered the final round of the tournament on Saturday, trailing host New Mexico by five shots. UNLV, led by co-medalist Eddie Olson's 2-under 70, posted a final-round best 5-under 283 and won the event by 11 shots. It was the Rebels' first win of the year in just their second tournament. UNLV finished second earlier this month at the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational in Colorado Springs, Colo.

UNLV will be back in action Oct. 13-14 at the Jerry Pate Intercollegiate in Birmingham, Ala.
