LAS VEGAS - UNLV women's golf will compete in the Wave Invitational, a small, six-team tournament that is being hosted by Pepperdine and played at Moorpark Country Club in Moorpark, Calif.

The tournament will begin on Tuesday with 18 holes and will concluded on Wednesday with another 18 on the par-72, 6,054-yard course, with teams teeing off of both holes No. 1 and 10 each morning. Included in the field with UNLV and Pepperdine are BYU, Cal State Northridge, Long Beach State, New Mexico State and UNLV. UCLA will also be sending individuals to the event.

UNLV head coach Missy Ringler will field a team made up of Alejandra Guacaneme, Natasha Krishna, Therese Koelbaek, Kristen Schelling and Bethany Glassford. The Rebels will also have five individuals competing in the tournament, and they are Melissa Mabanta, Nicole McGirr, Kasi Lee, Stephanie Whatley and Victoria Oros.

"This is a great event for us as we have the opportunity for all of our players to play," Ringler said. "I think we can use this as a great tune-up for the upcoming UNLV Spring Invitational."
