LAS VEGAS - Playing some of its best golf of the season, the UNLV women's golf team closes out its regular season at the Indiana Invitational, a two-day tournament that gets underway on Monday.
The Rebels are part of a 15-team field that will play 36 holes on Monday and then a final 18 holes on Tuesday, at the Otter Creek Golf Club, which is a par-72, 6,179-yard course. This is the second year in a row that UNLV is playing in this tournament, and the team posted a fifth-place finish at last year's tournament.
UNLV will field a lineup of Natasha Krishna, Therese Koelbaek, Alejandra Guacaneme, Kristen Schelling and Bethany Glassford, and the Rebels will also have Victoria Oros and Stephanie Whatley playing as individuals.
In its last three tournaments the Rebels have posted finishes of second, first and second, with the victory coming in the UNLV Spring Invitational to open up March. The Rebels last outing was a second-place finish at the MountainView Collegiate, which was held in Tucson, Ariz.
