- UNLV women's golf head coach Amy Bush will spend a significant amount of time at the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open this week, which included leading today's instructional clinic for women learning to play golf.

"The clinic was a success and we were hopefully able to get women interested in the game of golf and interested in UNLV Women's Golf," said Bush. "We had approximately 50 women attend the clinic, and I look forward to it again next year!"

Bush, in her first year as head coach of the Rebels, gave participants an overview of basic golf tips before setting up and giving one-on-one individual instruction as the women hit into nets.

"Helping at the Justin Timberlake PGA Tour event is a great way to get UNLV women's golf into the community." added Bush. "We want everyone to know that our program is getting stronger with each tournament year in and year out."

UNLV has played in three tournaments this fall, collecting top-10 finishes in each one along the way. The Rebels will host their annual fall tournament, the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown next week, starting Monday, Oct. 25.

The Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open will be held Oct. 18-24 at the TPC Summerlin. All proceeds benefit Shriners Hospitals for Children. Rebel fans can check out the action from the event live in the Rebel Ranch, a UNLV-branded hospitality area on the 18th fairway.
