WHITE PLAINS, NY - UNLV freshman standout Lucia Batta lost in the first round of consolation play to end her impressive autumn season on Friday at the 2010 USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships, which are taking place at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in White Plains, N.Y.

Batta was defeated 6-2, 6-4 by Tennessee freshman Brynn Boren to finish the fall tournaments with a 13-3 singles record.
