Week Two Release in PDF Format 
LEADING OFF: After a successful showing last weekend in the Sportco Kick-Off Classic, the UNLV Rebels stay home for the sixth annual Louisville Slugger Desert Classic (Feb. 18-21).
UNLV will welcome 14 other teams to Las Vegas for the four-day event that is held at Eller Media Stadium (UNLV's home field) and Stephanie Lynn Craig Park (three-field complex in nearby Henderson).
The Rebels will open up competition on Thursday night at 7:15 pm against Boise State. UNLV-BSU will follow the tournament opener between BYU and Oregon, which starts at 5:00 pm.
In all, the Rebels will play five contests. UNLV will play a pair on Friday against San Diego (3:45 pm) and Hawai'i (6:00 pm). On Saturday (3:45 pm) they will play #21 Northwestern before closing out the quintet of games against Indiana on Sunday (11:15 am).

ON DECK: The UNLV Rebels will hit the road for their first of five trips to the Golden State when they participate in their sixth consecutive Cathedral City Classic (Feb. 25-28).
UNLV will play Cal Poly, Texas A&M, Fordham, Stanford and Long Island during their three days of action in the California desert.
LOOKING BACK A WEEK: The UNLV Rebels went 4-1 in their first weekend of action during the 2010 campaign. The Rebels opened up with an 8-0 loss to Illinois before regrouping and claiming four straight victories to close out the Sportco Kick-Off Classic.
When all was said and done, UNLV had an impressive showing offensively with a .314 overall batting average.
Marissa Nichols and Tayler Aleman led the squad in hits with six apiece. Nichols topped the team in runs with seven, while Aleman led the RBI category with seven.
Five different Rebels hit home runs, three of which were hit by first-timers. Erica Addison, Korin Cuico and Aleman registered their first home runs as Rebels. Alyssia De La Torre and Laura Briones were responsible for the other two blasts.
In the circle, Kylie Wagner recorded two of UNLV's four victories. Wagner, a sophomore transfer from Evansville, owned a 2.50 ERA in 14.0 innings of work. Stephanie Bregante and Traci Odegard notched a victory apiece, although Odegard suffered the lone loss for the Rebels.
