Indy's Wrap Up At Jackrabbit

March 16, 2010

PRIMM, Nev. - UNLV women's golf has four individuals competing in the Jackrabbit Invitational, a two-day tournament which finished up Tuesday with 18 holes of golf being played at the Primm Valley Golf Club.

Competing for the Rebels are Mandi Incorvaia, Bethany Glassford, Stephanie Whatley and Victoria Oros, and all four of them are in the top 35 heading into tomorrow's final round.

Incorvaia was the highest on the leaderboard, as she tied for 16th with a three-round score of 226 (75-77-74, +10), while Glassford tied for 31st with a score 231 (82-71-78, +15).

Whatley was the next Rebel, as she finished 34th with a total of 232 (78-76-78, +16) and Oros tied for 41st with a total of 237 (77-79-81, +21). Since there are only four Rebels playing in the tournament they can't compete in the team standings, since five golfers are required per team, but those four combined would have finished 10th in the team standings with a total of 926 (+62).

Oral Roberts won the team title with an 892 (+28), two shots better than Missouri State and four ahead of Drake, which finished in third place. Olivia Lansing of Drake took home medalist honors, as she was the only player to finish the tournament under par with a 3-under 213.
