LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV women's golf team looks rebound from last weekend's Dick McGuire Invitational, traveling to Seattle, Wash. to compete in the 30th Edean Ihlandfeldt Invitational held at the Sahalee Country Club.
The field of 12 teams includes four ranked in the nation's top 50, including No. 15 Cal, No. 17 and host Washington, No. 23 Colorado and No. 34 Oregon. BYU, Gonzaga, Idaho, Nebraska, Oregon State, San Jose State and Washington State round out the tournament field.
The three-day tournament starting Monday, Oct. 3 at 9 a.m. PT will continue with a 10:30 a.m. PT start time Tuesday before concluding Wednesday morning with an 8 a.m. PT starting time. The par-72, 6,063 yard course has played host to many prestigious throughout the years, including the 2010 U.S. Senior Open, 2002 NEC World Championship and 1998 PGA Championship.
The Rebels enter this week's tournament ranked 64th in the latest Golfweek/Sagarin rankings.
UNLV's lineup will consist of freshmen Marguerite Swearingen, Mayko Chwen Wang and Dana Finkelstein and sophomores Charlotte Brooks and Katerina Prorokova.
The Rebels will be in the first slot of tee times Monday morning, joined by host Washington and Colorado.
