Five Football Players Suspended For Saturday

Nov. 2, 2011

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - Five UNLV football players have been suspended for Saturday's game vs. Boise State as a matter of team discipline, head coach Bobby Hauck announced.

The five players are: freshman linebacker Peni Vea, freshman wide receiver Devante Davis, junior linebacker Princeton Jackson, sophomore running back Tim Cornett and sophomore linebacker Tani Maka.

"Due to a violation of team rules and code of conduct, these young men will be suspended for Saturday's game vs. Boise State," Hauck said. This will be the only comment on the matter from UNLV Athletics.
