FLUSHING, N.Y. (UNLVRebels.com) - UNLV tennis sophomore Aleksandra Josifoska saw her fall season come to an end Saturday, losing in the second round of consolation play at the USTA/ITA National Indoor Championships.

Josifoska fell 6-2, 6-4 to Maryland's Cristina Stancu at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, N.Y.

Ranked 117th nationally, the Lady Rebel entry earned a spot in the elite 32-player singles main draw by winning the ITA Mountain Regional title last month in Las Vegas.

The UNLV women will next be in action when they host the Freeman Memorial tournament in January.
