LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - This year's series of UNLV football television commercials features a lot of second-year head coach Bobby Haucktalking football. And that is exactly what the intent was.

In the three 30-second, high-definition spots, Hauck is discussing what fans can expect from Rebel Football as he and his staff work to build the program in Las Vegas.

"The focus had to be Bobby's message," said Sr. Associate Athletics Director D.J. Allen about the campaign. "When Bobby talks football, you believe. People close to the program see this on a daily basis - they see the transformation that is taking place with all aspects of the team. We wanted to invite all fans to hear and see some of this and the response has been very positive."

UNLV kicks off next week at Wisconsin on Thursday, Sept. 1 at 5 p.m. PT on ESPN. The Rebels' Home Opener will be Saturday, Sept. 17 at 7 p.m. PT at Sam Boyd Stadium against Hawaii.

Family and Friends Night will be held Saturday, Sept. 24 with kickoff coming at 6 p.m. PT against Southern Utah. There is a special 2-for-1 ticket promotion for the game, which will feature a pre-game Kids Festival. Also, kids 12-and-under will be invited to take the field for 30 minutes immediately following the game.
