PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. (UNLVRebels.com) - UNLV senior standout Aleskandra Josifoska ran into a buzz saw Thursday afternoon, falling in straight sets in main draw singles at the 2013 Riviera/ITA Women's All-American Championships being played at the Riviera Country Club.

Josifoska, ranked 32nd, lost 6-1, 6-2 to one of the sport's top freshman, Hayley Carter of North Carolina. Carter and her teammate also ousted Josifoska and her teammate, Lucia Batta, during doubles play earlier in the week.

Josifoska will now look to make some noise in the consolation bracket starting Friday.
