LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV football team's season-opening game at Minnesota on Thursday, Aug. 29 will be shown on Big Ten Network (BTN) with kickoff at TCF Bank Stadium set for 4:00 pm PT (6:00 pm CT), the channel announced Monday.

BTN is available in Southern Nevada on Cox channels 312/1312HD and on DirecTV channel 610.

Kickoff time and television information have now been announced for three of the Rebels' games. Details on the other nine dates will be released during the coming weeks.

The Rebels will be making their first appearance on BTN for what will be their first trip to play football in the state of Minnesota. The same two teams opened the 2012 in Las Vegas -- also on a Thursday -- and the Golden Gophers escaped with the 30-27 win in a three-overtime thriller.
