Nov. 17, 2014 LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - UNLV football's season-finale against in-state rival Nevada, Reno on Nov. 29 will kick off at 7:30 p.m. PT and be televised by ESPNU, the Mountain West Conference announced Monday.
The late kick time also necessitated an afternoon start for the UNLV men's basketball game on that Saturday as the Runnin' Rebels will face Albany starting at 3:30 p.m. PT in the Thomas & Mack Center.
Earlier in the day, the school's women's basketball team will play Delaware State with tip-off slated for noon as part of the first round of the Lady Rebel Round-Up at the Cox Pavilion.
"From the Lady Rebels to the Runnin' Rebels to the annual Battle for the Fremont Cannon vs. the Wolf Pack, we're excited that our fans will be able to enjoy a full Saturday of Rebel sports during the holiday weekend," said UNLV Director of Athletics Tina Kunzer-Murphy.
This Saturday, UNLV football heads to Hawai'i for its final road game of the season before returning to play for the rights to the famed Fremont Cannon. It will mark the first time since 1977 that the Rebels and Wolf Pack square off in the season's final game and UNLV's senior class will be honored on the field before kickoff.
