Rebels Set To Open Spring Season In California

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV women's golf team will open its spring schedule by traveling to the Peg Barnard Invitational in Palo Alto, Calif. The team will play at the par-71, 6,084-yard, Stanford Golf Course.

The two-day tournament will start on Saturday, February 15 and will conclude on Sunday, February 16. The 14-team field includes No. 5 Stanford, California, Colorado, Denver, Fresno State, Long Beach State, No. 17 Oregon, Oregon State, San Diego State, USF, San Jose State, UC Davis, UC Irvine and UNLV. First round action will begin with a shot gun start at 9:00 a.m. PT

UNLV's lineup will consist of junior Dana Finkelstein, senior Demi Mak, junior Mayko Chwen Wang, freshman Avery French and junior Marguerite Swearingen.
