MESA, Ariz. (UNLVRebels.com) - UNLV women's golf is eighth at the Clover Cup, which is being hosted by Notre Dame. The Rebels are 28-over-par 604 (307-297) at Long Bow Golf Club (par-72, 6,209) after the second round on Saturday.
Colorado is atop the leaderboard after two rounds at 13-over 589 (292-297). Louisville is two strokes back at 15-over 591 (299=292) and host Notre Dame is third at 19-over 595 (299-296).
Colorado's Jennifer Coleman leads all individuals after two rounds and sits at 5-under 139 (69-70). Notre Dame's Kristina Nhim (68-72) and Michigna's Grace Choi (69-71) are tied for second at 4-under 140. Louisville's Emily Hass is fourth at 1-under 143 (71-72). Kennesaw State's Kaew Preamchuen (74-71) and Michigan's Laruen Grogan (73-72) are tied for fifth at 1-over 145.
UNLV is led by junior Dana Finkelstein who is tied for seventh at 2-over 146 (76-70). Junior Mayko Chwen Wang is tied for 28th at 7-over 151 (76-75). Senior Demi Mak is tied for 34th at 9-over 153 (77-76). Junior Marguerite Swearingen is tied for 43rd at 10-over 154 (78-76) and freshman Avery French is tied for 55th at 14-over 158 (80-78). Freshman Vivian Hsuan Chen is playing as an individual and is tied for 34th at 9-over 153 (78-75).
