ESPN Picks Up UNLV At Arizona

May 29, 2014

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV football team's season-opening game at Arizona on Friday, Aug. 29 will be shown by ESPN and kick off at 7:30 p.m. PT, the Pac-12 Conference announced Thursday.

The selection means UNLV will have its opener on national television for the fifth consecutive year. The Rebels will be making their first appearance on ESPN since hosting Washington State on Sept. 14, 2012. Last season UNLV was on ESPNU four times and on ESPN3 once.

In April, the school learned that four other Rebel games will appear on ESPN Networks (ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU or ESPN3) this season: at San Diego State on Sept. 27, at San Jose State on Oct. 4, at Utah State on Oct. 25, and the season-ending Battle for the Fremont Cannon vs, Nevada, Reno on Nov. 29 at Sam Boyd Stadium.

UNLV is set to visit Arizona Stadium for just the second time ever and first time since 2001. The trip to Tucson follows the Wildcats' game in Las Vegas last fall.

Season tickets are on sale now starting at only $90 for all six home games. Call (702) 739-FANS or log on to www.unlvtickets.com for more information.
