LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - Three UNLV athletes were named to the 2013-14 academic all-WAC freshman/transfer teams, the league office announced on Monday.

The UNLV men's swimming team had a pair of freshmen earn a spot on the academic team, Jackson Hawkins and Dylan Tarazona. The third athlete hailed from the men's soccer squad, transfer Bradley Kamdem, who was a sophomore this past season for the Rebels.

To be eligible, a student-athlete must have completed at least one academic year, have at least a 3.2 cumulative grade point average and have participated in at least 50 percent of the team's contests.
