LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - UNLV senior offensive lineman Brett Boyko on Thursday was named the No. 1 eligible prospect for the 2015 Canadian Football League Draft in the league's official September rankings.

Boyko (6-7, 310), a four-year starter at left tackle from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, was a unanimous 2014 preseason All-Mountain West Conference selection and a member of the Rotary Lombardi Award Watch List. He was also listed among the Top-10 NFL Talent in the league and "Best Pass Blocker" by Lindy's magazine.

After joining the Rebels in 2010, he converted to the offensive line after having played quarterback and defensive line for St. Joseph's High School.

The 2015 CFL Combine will be held in Toronto from March 27-29. The date of the 2015 CFL Draft has yet to be confirmed. The CFL Scouting Bureau releases its rankings three times each year: in September, January and April. The CFL's Scouting Bureau is comprised of CFL scouts, player personnel directors and general managers from the league's nine teams.
