Hidvegi, who played for the Rebels from 2008-11, still ranks eighth in school history with 88 singles victories and ninth in win percentage at .704 (88-37). She was named All-Mountain West Conference in singles in 2010.
The native of Budapest, Hungary, helped the Rebels to a 2008 MW Tournament title and regular-season championships in 2009 and 2011. A three-time Academic All-Mountain West honoree, she graduated with a degree in hospitality management and plans to pursue her master's degree at Wagner, which plays as a member of the Northeast Conference.
Hidvegi was most recently a tennis instructor at Dragon Ridge Country Club in Las Vegas.
"This appointment is well deserved and I have no doubt she will do a great job coaching at Wagner," said UNLV head coach Kevin Cory. "Adri is a very hard worker, extremely responsible and loyal to those around her. I am looking forward to following what is a very promising career."
