Rebels Fall on the Road to Broncos 4-0

BOISE, Idaho (UNLVRebels.com) - UNLV women's soccer fell on the road after Boise State scored four unanswered goals on Friday afternoon in a Mountain West match at Boas Soccer Complex. The Rebels drop to 6-8-0, 1-4-0 while the Broncos improve to 4-7-3, 2-3-0.

The game was scoreless until the 36th minute when Boise State's Brooke Heidemann scored. Heidemann dribbled across the field and knocked in a shot from the left side of the right post. Three minutes later Baylee Blaser converted on a 24 yard shot in the middle of the field to double the Broncos' lead. The final goal of the half came in the 41st minute when Addison Standles scored from 19 yards out.

Boise State added another goal in the 50th minute when Kayla Tucker was able to guide the ball in from a few feet away from the net off of passes from Heidemann and Dani Brown.

The Rebels finished with four shots in each half while the Broncos had 11 shots overall. Goalkeeper Jessie Clark made three saves in the game.

UNLV returns home this Sunday at Peter Johann Memorial Field for a matchup at 1 pm against Utah State.
