Nov. 17, 2015 LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV women's golf team has signed a golfer to a national letter of intent to play for the Rebel Golf team for the 2016-17 season, head coach Amy Bush-Herzer announced on Tuesday. Joining the Rebels will be Alli Kim.
Kim is a native of Murrieta, Ca. and played for Murrieta Valley High School where she won the 2015 CIF Southwest League during her senior year and advanced the CIF Regionals. She also plays in Future Champions Golf Tour and won the 6th Annual Vegas Invitational at Primm Golf Club in April 2015. Kim qualified and competed in the 2015 USGA Girls Junior held at Tulsa Country Club in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
"Alli has amazing work ethic and passion for the game," said Bush-Herzer. "I know Alli will be a wonderful addition to our Rebel Golf Team." "Her strengths are her consistency and accuracy, and she will be in a position to compete at the collegiate level right away."
Women's golf starts the spring portion of its season at the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge at Palos Verdes, Calif. on Feb.7-9.
