LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - UNLV will take on USC for only the second time on the football field when the Rebels visit the Trojans on Aug. 31, 2019, the schools announced Wednesday.

The Rebels, who will be paid a guarantee of $1.15 million for the game, will play the Trojans in the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. The only previous meeting of the two programs came in 1997 when USC rallied to win 35-21.

"Adding a storied program such as USC to our schedule fits perfectly into our philosophy of signing one guarantee game every couple of seasons," said UNLV Director of Athletics Tina Kunzer-Murphy. "It will be an easy and memorable trip for our fans as well as allowing us to appear in a city that is an important recruiting area for us."
