June 12, 2015 LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - Rebel fans who aren't making the trip to Ann Arbor will have to get up early on Saturday, Sept. 19 to catch UNLV's first meeting with storied football program Michigan as it was announced that the game will start at 9 a.m. PT (Noon ET) and be shown by the Big Ten Network.
The Wolverines will be the fifth current Big Ten Conference team to face UNLV and first since Minnesota in 2013, which also marked the only other time the Rebels have appeared on BTN. UNLV will play in the Great Lakes State for the first time since taking on Eastern Michigan in 1995.
The Rebels will open their season at Northern Illinois on Sept. 5 and then host UCLA for the first time in history just one week later in the first of six home games. Season tickets, which start as low as $99, are available now by calling (702) 739-FANS (3267) or visiting www.unlvtickets.com.
Five of UNLV's 12 games now have kickoff times set, with more to follow in the coming weeks. The Rebels have three games scheduled for CBS Sports Network (at NIU, vs. UCLA and vs. San Diego State) while a Friday trip to Fresno State on Oct. 16 will be shown by ESPN2 and a home game vs. Boise State on Halloween will appear on the ESPN family of networks.
