CHICAGO (UNLVRebels.com) - UNLV women's soccer's Denali Murnan was selected to the preliminary list of 145 players eligible for selection in the 2016 NWSL College Draft, which will take place on Friday, Jan. 15 at 10 a.m. (ET) at the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Convention in Baltimore.

A four year starter, Murnan ranks tied for fifth in UNLV's all-time career assist leaders with 13. After a medical redshirt in 2013 from suffering a broken elbow, she earned Second Team All-Mountain West Honors the past two seasons.

Murnan wrapped up a successful career with the Rebels this past fall. She was second on the team in scoring with four goals and 13 points and scored the game-winning goals against Utah Valley on Sept. 4 and San Jose State on Oct. 23.
