Nov. 15, 2016 LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - UNLV Women's Golf has signed German native Polly Mack to a national letter of intent to play for the Rebel Golf team starting in the 2017-18 season, announced by head coach Amy Bush-Herzer on Tuesday.
Mack, a Berlin, Germany native, has experience playing in tournaments all over the world. The 2016 German National Champion most recently finished first in the German Junior Golf Tour and won the 2016 RB German Junior Championship. She was also selected to the German National Golf Team. Mack currently attends Evangelische Schule Frohnau in Berlin.
Bush-Herzer is looking forward to having a player with Mack's resume join the Rebels next year. "Polly will be a wonderful addition to our team," said Bush-Herzer. "She brings plenty of great tournament experience from all over the world and we're really excited she was recently selected for the German National Team. We can't wait to have her in Las Vegas next year."
Mack is also excited about joining the Rebels. "I'm proud to have the opportunity to come to UNLV and join a great team," said Mack.
UNLV wrapped up its fall slate in Dallas last weekend and will return to action in February.
